Worship, centered in the Word and Sacraments, strengthens and renews the gathered assembly as we proclaim God’s saving Gospel of salvation by grace alone. We celebrate Holy Communion at each worship service (except Good Friday). We follow the basic Lutheran liturgical format (Gathering, Word, Meal and Sending), incorporating a variety of musical styles and exercising format options to enhance worship themes and liturgical seasons. Our worship and music liturgies, hymns and songs are chosen and woven together from a variety of resources including:
Accompaniment for worship often includes: organ, piano, percussion, drums, strings, guitars, brass, woodwinds. We welcome and encourage musicians of all ages to participate in our music and worship program. Music Opportunities New! Fall 2011! Attention youth musicians! Youth musicians, under the leadership of Michelle Jones, will be learning and leading worship music one Sunday a month beginning in August 2011. Interested in sharing your talents?
