A Stephen Ministry Congregation
Atonement is a Stephen Ministry Congregation, equipping lay persons to minister to others who are in need. It is a way to multiply both the amount of caring ministry that goes on in our congregation as well as the amount of participation by lay persons in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Seventeen Atonement members are trained and commissioned Stephen Ministers1, having completed 50 hours of instruction.
Quilters of Atonement
One
hundred and sixty eight quilts were assembled in 2006-2007 and
distributed to satisfy local needs and through Lutheran World
Relief.
